Book Review: God gave us Love by Lisa Tawn

God gave us love by Lisa Tawn did a perfect job explaining the different ways we love. The book talks about the love between siblings, The love between parents, the Love with Grandparents and how all those relationships are different and special.

God gave us love has a sweet way of reminding us and our children that everyone was given to us by God, and he made each relationship in our lives unique and special. It helps children understand that each relationship serves a different purpose and is handled differently.

Our children are better able to understand how we love all people but some are closer to our hearts than others. The people closer to us, our affections for them can be displayed differently.

The illustrations are colorful and always captivating to children. The story never gets old to them no matter how many times they hear it.

My children enjoyed reading this book and I enjoy reading it to them. We read it often as a bed time book. For children Under the age of 4 the concept seems too complicated to understand but overall  an excellent addition to our home library.

I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
