Fall Crawl Decor

Welcome all who are here from the fall Crawl.
Today we are going to make some simple but lovely fall decor.
These  decorative balls can add the perfect splash of color to any room.
You will need:
Foam Balls
Yarn and/or Hemp
Glue Gun

Lets get started...
You will start by adding a small amount of glue to the top of the foam ball. Lay the yarn flat on the glue.
Start wrapping the yarn around, slowly covering the yarn that is laying flat.
It will look a little something like this when you start wrapping around.
Make sure you have the yarn really close together and add glue as you go.
If you do not have it close together you will have a gap at the center  like you see below.
Add a little glue as you go around around.
If you are using thin yarn, go slowly and be very careful.

Take your time and make sure that the yarn touches so you do not have Gaps between each row.
the gaps can be really frustrating, and unattractive so I recommend using thick yarn or thick Hemp for this project.

When you get to the end cut the yarn, add the last bit of glue,
tuck the end under a little before you place the last piece down. And your Done!
You can put your new balls in a Bowl or a Glass Vase.
This is a great project great for just about any room in your home.
The possibilities are endless!

I hope you are enjoying the Fall Crawl.
Tomorrow we are going to Food, Folks, and Fun for an other great Idea for bring in the fall.

I hope this season of life is good to you.

This is so easy, but I never thought of it before! I can see using this for every holiday and just changing out the colors. Thanks so much for the idea, I'm pinning it right now!

Thanks for a cute and easy idea. You're making me think I just might be able to "craft" (if I can get out of the kitchen long enough).

They look great! I love the colors and different fibers. I did something similar in the spring with yarn using pingpong balls. Thanks for sharing!
