1.Ask around and see if a friend or anyone would like to read them.
2. Use them as wrapping paper for small gifts.
3. Make gift boxes.
4. Make envelopes. I will show you how to do this one. It is super easy and Eco-friendly.
1. Select the pages you like and tear them out.
Step 2: Fold the page in half the long way with the rough edge slightly taller than the straight edge and cut off the rough edge.
Step 3: You will keep the page folded in half the long way and cut off the corners and an angle. You can use the little subscription cards that come in the magazine to measure how much to cut off. You can see the line below where you should cut.
Step 4: After cutting fold paper in half the other way so that the points are touching to create a center line.
Open the paper, and fold the pointed sides in to the center meeting and slightly overlapping at the center line you just created. Glue or tape it together.
Cut the pointed triangle tip off from the top and bottom of the envelope. Fold the bottom up and tape or glue that down.
Your done! When you are ready to use the envelope fold the top over and seal it shut. While your at it why not make 5, 10, or 20!
In case you are wondering you can send them off in the mail. Yes you can!If the picture is dark you may have to place a white sticker over it and write on top. but the lighter colored pictures you can write right on them put a stamp on and send them off. ( Worked for me). I found that writing with a sharpie works best so make sure you write the address first before placing your note in or it may leak on your sweet little hand written note.
Enjoy re-using, recycling, re purposing!
