So You Want To Be In A Craft Show

Happy Monday Everyone!
I mentioned before that I will be doing my first ever Craft Show December 4th. I have been doing some research to get Ideas on how to do the show well (As well as a first timer can do). These are tips I found helpful in order to preparing for, and to have a successful craft show. These tips are assuming you have already found a show, have been accepted, and now you are preparing for a wonderful day of sales.

These are just a few helpful tips.
1. Make sure you have plenty of Marketing materials. Have things like Business cards, Postcards, mailing list, and other marketing tools like pens, pins etc.
Remember YOU are also marketing material. Dress the part.

3.Make sure everything is priced. EVERYTHING! or Easy to read signs.

4. Bring a friendly friend. Because lets face it not all creative people are super Extroverts.

5. Practice setting up your table at home to see what it will look like

Mailing list sign up sheet
Cushion for you chair
Directors chair is best

I found a pretty amazing post that gives excellent tips from start to finish about craft shows.

You can find the post here at Mermaids Closet enjoy and get inspired.

All the best to all of you Crafters and Artisans that are in the middle of Craft show season!

This post was brought to you by the letter "S"
Proverbs 31

13 She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.

17 She sets about her
work vigorously;
her arms are strong for her tasks.

24 She makes linen garments and sells them,
and supplies the merchants with sashes.

Who is she?
The wife of noble Character

Great tips! Thanks!

I think having the prices on products is so important. A lot of people don't and it definitely keeps me from buying things when I feel stupid asking how much everything costs.

Best of luck! I recently did my first show, and a tiny hint I would add is to have a small bowl of candy on your table ~ it helps encourage people to stop by and look! :)
